A Word from our President, Liz Mitchell
I am a retired Department of Homeland Security Supervisory Special Agent. I was bitten by the golf bug in 1999 after a dare from a work colleague to compete in an office golf tournament. This led to my first set of Ping golf clubs from a garage sale and a passion for the game that speaks volumes (literally) with everyone whom I encounter. I am self-taught having had only one professional lesson in fifteen years. I have been a member of two Western States Golf Clubs and served as a Tournament Chair. I decided to form Dif’Rent Strokes Golf Club after some nudging and persuasion from friends. I am elated to take on this leadership role and look forward to motivating and stimulating interest in the game of golf.
